FAQ's

How Do I Make A Booking? Appointments can be made via phone, text, or email (07584 132744). A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings, payable via bank transfer. Details will be provided at the time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy? A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit (excluding tinting treatments where an allergic reaction has occurred). If you are sick, let me know as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment. Please do not turn up for your appointment if you are sick. Also for the health and safety of all my clients, please avoid bringing unwell children to your appointment. I am happy to reschedule your appointment.

Can I reschedule my appointment? Yes. Appointments may be rescheduled if necessary, and your deposit will be transferred to the new date. Appointments may only be rescheduled twice.

What payment methods do you accept? I accept cash, card, and bank transfer. Full payment must be made on or before the day of your appointment.

Do you offer mobile services? All treatments take place in my home-based treatment room in Chinnor. Mobile services are not available.

Is your treatment room wheelchair accessible? Please note that the treatment room is located upstairs and is not wheelchair accessible.

Do you offer gift vouchers? E-gift vouchers are available for specific treatments or monetary amounts. They are delivered via email as a PDF, must be presented at your appointment, and are valid for 12 months.

What is your beauty couch like? Treatments are carried out on an Affinity Diva Spa Pro electric couch, designed for comfort and support. It features adjustable height, back, and leg positioning to ensure a relaxing experience. Here are the dimensions for your information: Length: 180cm (inc face cradle 215cm) Width: 71cm Max weight: 200kg (440lbs).

Can I bring someone with me? You are welcome to bring one guest. Children under 16 must be attending for a treatment and accompanied by a parent or guardian. For the safety of my clients, if your child is unwell please avoid bringing them to your appointment. Please inform me as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment.

Can children under 16 have treatments? Treatments are available for clients under 16 with parental/guardian consent and supervision. Children under 10 are limited to express treatments only (no waxing or tinting). A consultation form must be completed by a parent or guardian.

What is a patch test? Patch testing is required at least 24 hours prior to all tinting treatments, even if you have had similar treatments elsewhere. If any reaction occurs, the treatment cannot be carried out.

I’m pregnant—can I still have treatments? A range of treatments can be safely adapted during pregnancy, depending on your stage and comfort. These include certain nail treatments, gentle massage, Indian head massage, and brow treatments. Please inform me at the time of booking so your treatment can be tailored accordingly.

Are there any conditions that prevent nail treatments? Certain nail or foot conditions may prevent treatment. Please inform me in advance if you have any concerns, including fungal infections, verrucas, discolouration, or nail damage.

What should I expect at a pedicure appointment? New clients are required to complete a consultation form prior to treatment. If you are having polish applied, please bring flip flops. Treatments are carried out on a fully adjustable beauty couch for your comfort. If you have any mobility concerns, please let me know in advance.

What should I expect from a massage? Before your treatment, you will complete a consultation form and discuss any areas of concern. You will be given privacy to undress to your underwear and get comfortable on the couch under a blanket. Your comfort, dignity, and relaxation are always prioritised. Pressure can be adjusted throughout—please feel free to provide feedback during your treatment.

Can I have a facial if I have sensitive skin? My facial products are natural and contain essential oils. While many clients find them gentle and effective, they may not be suitable for everyone. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, please inform me in advance so I can advise or recommend an alternative treatment.
